Trendy Treasures Review/Raffle

I am a WAHM (work at home mom) and an entrepreneur. I’ve been cooking up ways to run my own business since I was little and really enjoy working for myself. When you follow your passion life is just more fun! I also enjoy supporting other moms who are following their passions by operating a small business.
Today, I want to introduce Dorit Kane, a mom of three (including 9 month old twins!) who runs an online shop called Trendy Treasures Boutique. Dorit shared that her vision was to create a store where she could share her favorite
treasures. Trendy Treasures specializes in helping you shop for a new baby, big
brother, big sister, new home, your best friend or yourself. They offer
services such as complimentary gift wrapping and personal shoppers to
make your gift buying an easy and stress-free experience.
I found the Trendy Treasures site easy to navigate and full of reasonably priced gift ideas. Many of the items can be personalized, which is something I love. I think it adds something special to a gift when it has a child’s name on it. They have items for boys and girls, toddlers to teens.
Dorit has been kind enough to offer a discount to my readers for any product from her store! In addition, anyone who uses this code to order something off her site will be entered to win this adorable crayon keeper. This item can be personalized and is available in all the colors shown.
Come back and comment if you order something from Trendy Treasures using the Multitasking Mama discount link and the winner of the Crayon Organizer will be chosen Wed. April 8th, 2009.

Have fun shopping!
Focus Friday- Balance
Here is the fun meme where we list our focus for the coming week and hold each other accountable for the things we listed as our focus for the previous week. If you want to get focused, along with a great group of ladies, visit Thrifty and Chic Mom.Last week my focus was my quiet time with God and specifically completing the homework for my Bible study each week. I am pleased to report that I completed the homework throughout the week. I am not so pleased to report that we didn’t have Bible study this week due to a minor snow storm.
This week, I will continue to focus on this and in finding ways to incorporate what I’m learning in my daily walk.
My main focus this week will be on creating a schedule for work related projects. The good news is that I am really starting to rock my business- praise the Lord. The potential downside is that I have a tendency to take on too much (I’m pretty sure all moms have this tendency, don’t we?) and with my MS I will crash and burn if I do too much. Trust me- been there, done that- and the whole crashing and burning thing (which took up most of 08) isn’t good for me or my family. So, the focus of this coming week is committing to and maintaining the ever elusive balance we are all striving for. What is your focus for this week?
Crazy or Ambitious?
I am participating in NaBloPoMo for all of November, meaning that I am committing to post something on here every day this month. Even typing that makes me feel insane because it is November- one of the busiest months of the year- but, hey- when have I ever stayed away from a challenge? Beside’s if it doesn’t go well, I am going to blame Monica at Paper Bridges for talking me into it (just kidding).
Anyway, I am also participating in Jessica Know’s 15 days of lessons on how to market your business and make nice with the PR world. I am doing that to help my professional organizing website/brand and am really excited to learn from her- I have even already done my homework for the day
So, dear readers, you will be hearing a lot from me this month. Join in the fun if you have a blog or business of your own.
