So, anyway- ya know how when you finally “give in” to God and just do what He’s been telling you to do things seem to go a lot smoother? (well, actually they get a little bumpy for a while when the enemy is testing to see if you are serious, but I just ignore him) Things are smooth right now. Not meaning life is grand and I am eating bon bons on a tropical island but that my spirit is at complete peace with the direction I am headed- personally, professionally, spiritually and emotionally (my physical body just has to stay healthy enough to participate). I don’t know where God is taking my ship but I am going to enjoy the ride. Just thought I would share that

In line with that I am streamlining some things to stay organized and make the most of my time. Starting tomorrow I am merging my Feel Chic (Cherished, Healthy, Inspired and Connected) blog with this one. That is where I get really spiritually deep and vent more about my emotions (watch out- heehee). Anyway, it just means that there may be more than one post on some days here at Multitasking Mama.

I also have BIG things going on in the land of writing- (getting headshots for the back of something done tomorrow).

Last but certainly not least, I am thrilled!!!!!!!with my upcoming guests on Sharing Our Stories. Tomorrow, we will be talking with Dr. Daisy S (also known as Dr. Mommy). She is a WAHM of five, who homeschools and loves Jesus. She has great things to share with us! That is tomorrow, Wednesday May 20th at 11 amEST. Then, next Wednesday May 27th at 11amEST I will be talking with Jill S from Forever ‘n Ever ‘n Always. She has a lot of kids (I lost count:-), many that have joined their family through international adoption. For those of you that have followed my blog for awhile, you are aware that God has been calling me out of my comfort zone in many ways in order to better serve Him. One thing He laid on my heart is the power that our personal story, our testimony, has in bringing others to know Him. I know from Scripture that the experiences and challenges I have faced in my life have been for the purpose of His glory.

With all the gloom and doom in the news lately, it is easy to focus on the negative and forget all that God is doing in our everyday lives. But all you have to do is look at people’s stories to know that God is alive and working in 2009- can I get an amen?

So, beginning tomorrow and every Wednesday thereafter that I am able, I will be hosting a live podcast on Blog Talk Radio called SOS- Sharing Our Stories. The purpose is to provide a platform for women to share how God is working in their lives or ways He came through for them in the past.

My first show will air LIVE (yikes) tomorrow at 11am EST. Click here to listen. The show will be available for download here on my site and on the BTR site after the show as well.

Tomorrow, I will be sharing my story and how the podcast came to be. I will be accepting calls for listeners that have specific questions about me or the show (or have a story to share). Next Wednesday, Clarissa Nassar of The Poshpreneur will be my guest,talking about the ways that God has gotten her through some difficult times. The following week, Dr. Mommy will be stopping by to discuss a great program God laid on her heart regarding kids and sex.
