On the mend

Thank you all so much for the comments, prayers, facebook messages regarding my surgery. I experienced some considerable discomfort this weekend and an allergic reaction to the antibiotic they gave me in the hospital, but have turned the corner and am on the mend today.

Now I have to save up my energy and stamina for the reconstructive knee surgery I will have towards the beginning of May.

I hope to be back to regular posting this week but wanted to pop in to say thanks, wave hi and continue my gratitude list.

~ overwhelming sense of peace as I was wheeled into operating room

~ skilled surgeons that were able to perform procedure laparoscopically

~ a strong hubby to help me get a shower {no small feat with a bum knee and abdominal surgery}

~ a friend from church {that is a nurse} to recognize an allergic reaction and stop it in it’s tracks

~ a pretty pink pillow to hold when I cough or laugh {thanks, Becky}

~ great friends that send special deliveries, like flowers and cleaning ladies!!

~ air hugs from my kiddos

~Sweet Pea’s pouty face when Mimi doesn’t hold her for naptime

~ a hubby who took 10 days off to care for me

~ heating pad
