Menu Plan Monday

It has been awhile since I participated in Menu Plan Monday, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been meal planning.  I don’t know where I would be without my menu!

We will have dinner guests most nights this week so I needed to plan for feeding 9 instead of 4.  When making changes like that, planning is even more important to keep within my grocery budget.

mpm2-1

Sunday (Matt’s 12th birthday, in case I have not lamented that fact enough)- Salisbury Steak, mashed potatoes, broccoli

Monday- Stuffed Shells with marinara sauce, garlic bread, green beans

Tuesday- Chicken Pasta Salad, whole wheat breadsticks

Wednesday- Grilled Cheese with fresh tomato, Tomato and Herb Soup

Thursday- Mexican Beef and Rice, salad

Friday- hubby taking kids camping/ I will be preparing for a women’s conference

Saturday- Turkey Breast (with maple/soy glaze), scalloped potatoes, peas

Menu planning is great when your family is involved in lots of activities. You can plan ahead with easy meals for the days you are going to be in a hurry to get out the door. Let me know if you need help getting started,Brandy =)
