Thankful Thursday- Rescue

I was watching Life Today with Betty and James Robison this morning and one of my favorite new Christian artists was being interviewed- Mandisa.  I watched her when she was on American Idol, I follow her on Twitter and I love her beautiful voice and authentic heart for Jesus.

She sang her new song, My Deliverer.

Wow, what a testimony! Be sure to watch the video, she gives a great word on forgiveness and being delivered from poor self esteem before she sings this moving song.

I am thankful this week that I serve the Deliverer of Habbakuk 3. If you haven’t ever read that prayer I encourage you to get our your Bible right now.

The Sovereign LORD is my strength, he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on th heights. Habbakuk 3:19

    I enjoy Mandisa’s music. Her latest CD is so wonderful. I heard her at Women of Faith earlier this year also and was blessed.

    I saw Mandisa on James Robison, too. (I watch James and Betty every morning while getting ready for work.) She did have a good word on forgiveness, and I love what she said to Simon!
