Focus Friday- Time Management

I have written two articles on time management this week and the topic comes up often with the clients I coach in my professional organizing business. Sometimes, the very thing that I counsel other people about is an obstacle for me. I was praying this week and was convicted that I waste time (on purpose at times) to avoid doing the things I need to do (writing) and that I need to set boundaries with my time on the computer so that I am not sending the message to my family that I am not present.

My boys have made off-handed comments in the last few weeks about me and my laptop being conjoined (they are soooo funny,huh?) and I know it bothers my hubby. So, I am going to make an effort this week to get the things I need to do for work/ministry before everyone gets home (from work/school) and only turn the computer on in the evenings if they are otherwise occupied (like right now with the three guys out in the garage working on a dirtbike motor).
