Lori at Laurel Wreath’s Reflections is hosting Thankful Thursday this week. I am a little late in posting because I had a doctor’s appointment this morning and took a nap like a good little patient.
The topic she chose is security.
That word really resonates with me as I spent so much of my life trying to find security in wordly things- success, commitment, status, money, material things, relationships- you name it, I was looking for it.
When you grow up in a very unstable environment it leaves you desperate for the security you never had.
And today I am thankful, ever so thankful to Almighty God, that I found the true source of security- Him.
There is nothing to be more thankful for than to know that NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, no matter my circumstance, I am secure in His grip and He is not going to let go of me. Eternally, I am secure.
